born to be a god amongst salesmen, working the skinny tie.

so it seems that my posts have a tendency to lean towards the longer side, so I thought that I would keep this one on the shorter side.

So i am still having a hard time writing, which makes me sad, and the other day i talked on the phone with a friend in cali, and after the conversation i realized that i have been on the negative side lately. as such, i have decided that the people that i enjoy the most and most enjoy being around are people who are not negative. i would use johnnyA as an example but most of you don't know him so it wouldn't help. i will therefore work on being less negative and more positive. and i would like to help all of my friends and, well, anyone that i come in contact with to do the same, starting with this

go, it is great, it makes me happy, hell take me with you and we can both be happy...

funny thing about positive attitudes, is that they're contagious. not just between people, which they can be (though not without exception), but within oneself. see, once you make a change toward positivity, either through a conscious internal effort or because of some external factor that makes you happier, you start to see things in a different light. you're more prone to recognize more things that bring you joy, which before went unnoticed. so then you internalize these happy moments or images or sounds or personalities or what have you, and suddenly you have many sources of happiness and positivity to draw upon. and your demeanor changes, and your voice and your posture, and soon you're smiling for no reason at all. but there is a reason, of course, it's just that it's everything, and it's so natural now.

embracing joy, even if it's a small and barely visible amount, really is so much more pleasant than trying to tear it apart. i'm not pointing fingers, and i know it's easier said than done, but i believe from experience that it can be done.

i wish i could go to hello yogurt with you, it sounds like a treat. and it's open till midnight? in utah valley? amazing.

sorry for writing so much. maybe i should be writing on my blog, and then you can write a ten-page-long comment?

Hello Yogurt?! I wonder who introduced such a happy place to you. Sounds like someone very intelligent. One not to be taken for granted.

I see that everyone here has fallen for your Hello Yogurt front, but I know it's just a euphemism for something else. Hello NURSE! Can't fool me, I've known you too long.
